[...insert cheesy 'Eyewitness News' theme music here]
We have exclusive coverage of a breaking story here at Jake's Baby Blog. Unconfirmed reports that indicate a tooth is beginning to emerge from Jake's lower gums. We have spoken to Jake's representatives and they confirm that the suspect has broken thru the surface of the gum, but has not fully emerged yet. Witnesses on the scene describe the suspect as "some small white ridges". We will continue to update this story as new evidence emerges. Stay tuned.

So I have to ask....is he sleeping through the night with this teething business? I'm convinced Maddy is teething, or at least I hope. She went from sleeping all night to waking up multiple times during the night, every night. Makes for a very "pleasant" Mommy and Daddy. Congrats on his first tooth!!!!!
Today's random baby factoid: 1 in 6 six-month olds regularly sleeps through the night.
Ralph and I are incredibly lucky to be one of those in the well-rested 16%. Jake sleeps for 12 hours straight almost every single night. (Yes, it's okay to mutter a curse under your breath at us)
I know we will have a non-sleeper next time. But that is not anytime soon.
Yeah on the tooth. Maybe Jake will get some teeth and go straight to regular food since he says "phooey" to the nasty baby food stuff!
PS Sorry Kristen, Kyler is also one of the 16%. He sleeps about 11 1/2 hours through the night.(At least for now. Knock on wood).
