We FINALLY found something that Jake will willingly put in his mouth that (1) is not dangerous, (2) does not make him gag and vomit, and (3) actually provides a minimal amount of nutrition! Woo-hoo!

Glad you found something he would eat...can't drink formula forever. That look on his face is still not too convincing.
Have you tried making "homemade" baby food? I know it is a pain to do, but I have heard that some babies will eat it and then they have a head start for eating "grown up" food.
I'm a mom and a wife and a photographer. I'm a dog person. I'm a foodie. I'm a creative person. I have too many piles of laundry. I love to laugh. I'm usually running late. I'm loyal to my friends and my family. I'm a night owl. I almost never cook. I'm always looking for ways to improve my surroundings. I'm completely useless without my camera, my iPhone, and my GPS.

Yeah, that last picture isn't all that happy is it? But I was happy just to get a picture of him with food in his mouth - not gagging or barfing. LOL.
Daycare said they fed him peaches and rice cereal today - with a spoon! Hmm.... maybe he is realizing this food thing isn't so bad afterall...
